How we look after your guests’ details

Last updated 26 October 2026, about 5 minutes to read

In short

  • Invitation pages show no ads and use no tracking. They only remember two small things on your device: that you opened the envelope, and your text size.
  • We hold guest details for the hosts, and use them for nothing else.
  • We do not sell your details or use outside tracking.
  • Ask us to remove your details and they leave the live service at once. Copies in database backups are deleted as those backups expire, within 9 weeks.

Who we are

This service is run by Jewgo LLC, 20401 Northwest 7th Court, Miami Gardens, FL 33169, USA. You can write to us at privacy@jewgo.app.

We send invitations and collect replies on behalf of the people hosting an event. The hosts decide who is invited and what they are asked; we hold the guest list and the replies for them, and use them for nothing else.

What we hold about guests

  • Names, and the invitation each guest belongs to.
  • Email addresses and phone numbers, where the hosts have added them.
  • The language your pages are shown in, and any notes the hosts keep about the invitation.
  • Your reply: who is coming, and your answers to the hosts’ questions. These can include a meal choice and dietary requirements, which may say something about your health or your religion. They are collected only because the hosts asked and you chose to answer.
  • Where you sit, if the hosts make a seating plan.
  • When your invitation was sent, delivered and opened, and when your invitation page was viewed. Our email provider may record when an email is opened or a link in it is followed.

Why

To deliver the invitation and any updates the hosts send. To record your reply and let you change it. And to give the hosts what they need to plan the event: numbers, meals and seating. We rely on the hosts’ legitimate interest in organizing their event and, for anything you tell us in your reply, on your choosing to tell us.

Who sees it

  • The hosts, and anyone they have invited to help organize the event.
  • Resend, our email provider, which processes your email address and the messages sent to you in order to deliver them, and may process them in the United States.
  • Stripe, which processes payment for paid events. We store payment status, amount, currency, date, receipt link, and Stripe reference IDs; Stripe handles card details, which Jewgo Invite does not store.
  • The company that hosts our server.

We do not sell your details, show advertising, or use outside analytics or tracking services; the views and opens listed above are recorded by Jewgo Invite itself, for the hosts. Invitation pages save two small preferences on your device, whether you’ve opened the envelope and your text size. Nothing is used to track you. Their fonts and images come from this site, not from anybody else’s.

How long we keep it

What we hold about you stays until one of these happens.

  • When the hosts remove you from their guest list, it is kept for 30 days in case it was a mistake, and your invitation link doesn’t open in that time. Then it is deleted.
  • When the event is deleted, it is kept for 30 days so that a mistake can be undone, and the event’s links don’t open in that time. Then it is deleted.
  • When you ask us to remove it, or you delete your Jewgo Account, it is gone from the live service at once, with your replies and the record of messages sent to you.
  • Copies may stay in backups of our database, which are kept only to recover from a fault. They are deleted when those backups expire, within 9 weeks.

Your choices

You can stop event updates with the unsubscribe link at the foot of any email. You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, by writing to the hosts or to us at privacy@jewgo.app. We will answer within a month. Depending on where you live you may also be able to complain to a data protection authority.

Hosts and organizers

If you sign in to organize an event, we also hold your name, email address, and the record of what you have changed. You sign in with your Jewgo Account, which is run separately and tells us your name and email address and whether the address is verified; we never see your password. Signing in uses cookies that are needed for it to work, and no others.

If you choose to import people from Google Contacts, you give us read-only access to your contacts. We keep an encrypted token that lets us read them again, and copy into your address book only the people you pick. You can disconnect at any time from your Google account’s settings. Your address book is your own: it is not shared with the other hosts of an event, or with other organizers.

We keep a suppression list of email addresses that have bounced, marked a message as spam or unsubscribed, and do not send to them again, whichever host asks. It holds the address and the reason, and nothing else.

You can delete your Jewgo Invite data yourself from Settings. It removes your profile, address book, Google connection and any event only you run, along with its guest list and replies; your Jewgo Account is not deleted. If you delete your Jewgo Account, we remove your Jewgo Invite data too.
